Jeremy Pratt

Jeremy Pratt is a reporter who hopes to convince himself and his public that he is not as useless as he appears.

Wilkie recorded these two stories in 2006. They are mp3 files (11kHz sample rate, 32kbps bit rate, stereo).

 Johnny Deep World Champion

This is a radio interview with Johnny Deep, about being the World Champion breath-hold diver.

This takes 5 minutes. The file is 1,192KB.

 That Pratt off the telly

This is a story about a Christmas carol concert where despite the absence of marmosets and Morris dancers, Jeremy's report still goes wrong.

This takes 6.13 minutes. The file is 1,457KB.

An edited version of this story is in Issue 3 of Graffiti magazine.

Once a mp3 file is downloaded, the program you use to listen to mp3 files will open or Get RealPlayer to use to listen to this file.

Some other Jeremy Pratt short stories are:

  •  Jeremy Pratt and the Big Tease

An unfortunate encounter with a candyfloss machine.

Wilkie read this at the Writers in the Brewery evening on 26th November 2009.

  •  Jeremy Pratt and the mouth bow

An experience in time travel to interview an early musical pioneer.
  •  Jeremy Pratt and the Nativity

It is all Catt and no dogs at the Nativity when Jeremy Pratt is involved.

Wilkie prepared this for, and read this at the Writers in the Brewery evening on 10th December 2009.
